Summer Has Arrived

The merry month of May is almost over and the blazing Summer month of June is creeping in like a clematis climber in all its brazen glory of bold, loud and colourful flowers. May is a particularly tricky month for flowers, especially importing flowers from Holland, due to several Mother's Day events across the Continent. This affects wholesale prices, quality and available quantities. In addition to this slight obstacle is the grand annual event known as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show - held at the Royal Chelsea Hospital, London. Thankfully, Blue Geranium is very fortunate to have regional and local flower wholesale contacts, who are able to provide fabulous quality, British grown flowers. The choice and price of local, Devon & Cornwall grown British flowers improves year on year and quality is second to none.

Half way through the year in the month of June, Blue Geranium will have provided many flowers for several weddings and other celebratory events. This pattern runs through to November, with a short break in time for the madness of December and Christmas.
