Availability, Toxicity and Conditions of Sale
Bearded Florista reserves the right to change or substitute flower types, packaging and gift items to provide an item of equal or greater value as all products are subject to availability. B
earded Florista will contact you only when it is necessary.

 

In the event that Bearded Florista is unable to supply a Bearded Florista product or any substitute product to you/client/customer at all, Bearded Florista shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse your payment in full and in any event no later than 30 days after the intended delivery date.

earded Florista may be toxic or poisonous. Please ensure that no flowers, plants or foliage are eaten. If adverse reactions to plant material occurs, please visit your local Accident and Emergency department immediately. If unsure, please call us on 01803 868983 before placing your order. Confirmation and Delivery

 

The following information relates only to same day & next day flower orders.

 

Orders within the Bearded Florista delivery zones as indicated when ordering shall be delivered by a member of the Bearded Florista team.

 

In order for Bearded Florista to deliver a requested gift on the date specified, complete, accurate details of the recipient, including a recognisable recipient name, address details, postcode and contact telephone number(s) are required.

 

Incorrect details provided may lead to problems or delays. Before placing your order, please ensure to include the full correct delivery address details, including accurate postcode and telephone number of the intended recipient PLUS your daytime contact telephone number or mobile number and your e-mail address.

 

Delivery charges are additional to the flower charges advertised during the initial shopping stages of the website.

 

When ordering flowers and gifts for the same delivery date and all to the same address, only one delivery charge will apply. This only applies within Bearded Florista' delivery zones.

 

On rare occasions that supplementary charges may be necessary for customers who request delivery in a remote rural area of the UK, you will be advised prior to any delivery taking place with these additional delivery charges.

 

Your order will only be processed if full payment details are given. We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards; including Visa, MasterCard and American Express through Square. You may also give your debit/credit card details via the phone to a Bearded Florista member of staff. Phone orders are process via a virtual terminal with Square. When Bearded Florista receives your online order, an automatic email is sent confirming your order details. This e-mail shall be directed to the email address you supplied upon registration/order placement. If your email has an error/typo, a confirmation email receipt will not be received at the customer end of the chain.

 

You will be issued an order reference number for any future correspondence relating to the order.

 

By clicking the ‘Send It" or "Submit" button on the Contact form, you are consenting to be bound by Bearded Florista's Terms and Conditions (T&C's) - Privacy is paramount and complies with current GDPR. Please state clearly if you do not want to remain on Bearded Florista's contact address list.

 

Same Day Delivery to recipients local to Bearded Florista by telephone only (no later than 12 pm noon GMT). Website orders preferred 1+ days in an advance notice or no later than 11 am for same-day delivery.

 

The AM or PM preference is just that - a preference. Bearded Florista cannot guarantee any delivery times for gift orders. Funeral orders will be delivered 2 hrs before the funeral time, or as requested by the Funeral Director, but cannot be ordered online. Bearded Florista recommends that you place funeral orders at least 3 working days in advance of the funeral date. Bearded Florista will always try to adhere to your requested preference wherever possible.

 

There are no deliveries carried out on a Sunday or on a Bank Holiday, (except Mothering Sunday and St Valentine's Day (Sunday and sometimes the Sunday before Christmas). Orders that are received via the Bearded Florista website on these days will be processed on the next available working day. On occasional rare circumstances where you have telephoned your order through to request a Sunday delivery, Bearded Florista may be able to arrange this for you, with a supplementary charge for "out of business hours service" and the discretion of Bearded Florista.

 

Bearded Florista delivers all non-funeral orders between 9 am and 4 pm (Summer) & 9 am to 2 pm (Winter). Bearded Florista will endeavour to deliver before 4 pm, especially in the case of birthdays and anniversaries. School and business address opening hours are also taken into consideration by the standard Bearded Florista delivering service.

 

Delivery to certain locations where a third party recipient is involved, such as hospitals, airports, hotels and ships, the signature of any person authorised to accept delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery to your chosen recipient. An image of the location and receiver is captured for proof of all dispatches.

 

In the instance of there being difficulties in delivering your order to the intended recipient, Bearded Florista (including the florist or third party delivering your order) reserve the right to contact the recipient using the contact details you provide on the order form. If the recipient’s telephone number has not been registered as Ex-directory, Bearded Florista may need to trace the recipient’s telephone number in order to achieve a satisfactory delivery. Equally, Bearded Florista may leave the flowers with the recipient’s neighbour. A courtesy call to the recipient within the next 36hrs will ensure that they have been received safely.

 

Whilst no delivery confirmation shall automatically be sent to you, Bearded Florista will be able to confirm (via verbal communication) any information relevant to the successful completion of your delivery.

 

Bearded Florista does not serve a relay company. Bearded Florista is linked to a network of quality select florists throughout the UK. You may order via Bearded Florista for National UK orders and send a bouquet of flowers via courier. However Bearded Florista can source a florist at the nearest location for you in the UK - your order will be referred to a suitable florist upon your approval. Bearded Florista accepts no responsibility for the referral service.

 

Cancellation

All perishable goods cannot be cancelled or refunded if requested within 36 hours of purchase. A credit note will be issued for future use.

Where the customer exercises their right to cancel a bouquet of flowers that were purchased online or at the Coach House, Station Road, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 5HWCancelling a purchase will be honoured with a credit note/gift card due to the nature of purchasing fresh produce. Requesting a debit/credit card refund will incur the transaction fee (fee ranges from 1.4% - 2.5% plus £0.25) Cancelling a purchase within 36 hours of dispatch or collect is not possible.

Forced cancellation due to National/International lockdown restriction are beyond our control. Refunds cannot be granted. Bearded Florista will provide flowers at the earliest convenience in the event of such an event.

 

Complaints Policy

Bearded Florista is fully committed to providing You the client/customer with the best possible floral and gift delivery service. If you are not satisfied in any way with the service that you have received please inform Bearded Florista via the ‘Contact/eForm (email form) on the Contact page and your complaint will be investigated. Bearded Florista will aim to acknowledge all queries within three working days and deal with complaints fully within five working days. Please provide photographic evidence via email and or arrange to return flowers to the shop for inspection.

 

If Bearded Florista is satisfied that your complaint is genuine, a suitable replacement or refund/gift voucher may be given. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

Because of the perishable nature of Bearded Florista products and in order to assist in resolving any complaints quickly and to a mutual satisfaction. Bearded Florista advises you to make any complaint within 3 working days of the delivery. Due to the nature of fresh produce, any complaints received after three days will not be honoured.

earded Florista, therefore, accepts no responsibility or liability for any defects or interruption of service.

 

Bearded Florista shall be released from any obligations under these Terms and Conditions in light of any event beyond reasonable control, (i.e. acts of God, civil commotion, riot, flood, fire, drought, war, terrorism, severe weather, Border closure with the EU and any other international border dispute, Epidemic/Pandemic interruption), which renders the provision of the Bearded Florista website and/or the Bearded Florista service impossible or impractical.

Availability

  • Fresh flowers are a living/natural product and there are occasions that a particular flower or specifically named variety may be unavailable or differ in colour/shade/tone according to the season. Whilst every effort is made to source the product sometimes we are unable to use a particular flower, in which case we reserve the right to use a similar flower in place of one previously chosen. All fresh flowers are subject to availability and stringent quality checks.

  • Extreme weather conditions sometimes affect the availability of flowers and foliage. We will always do our very best to provide within our capabilities and alternatives will be sourced if necessary.

  • Fresh flowers are ordered approx 3-7 days in advance of dispatch from the Workshop at Totnes, after which Bearded Florista cannot guarantee specific flowers.

  • Bearded Florista sources a majority of flowers from The Netherlands for many reasons such as the widest choice of available flowers and affordability. Sometimes transportation can be affected if there are issues with Customs and UK/EU Borders

  • UK grown flowers are very limited and costs are generally higher per stem if available.

  • Bearded Florista does not grow flowers.

  • Quarantine of the UK and or EU State - Bearded Florista may be affected if import/export is stopped during the Covid-19 Pandemic or other pandemics/epidemic/virus infections. Local and national supplies may be affected if the movement of goods throughout the UK is restricted. We cannot guarantee a supply of flowers and relinquish the responsibility in such an event. Refunds will not be offered if this situation occurs. Bearded Florista will provide flowers at the earliest convenience after any eventual lockdown.

 

Bearded Florista excludes all liability for any claims, losses, demands and damages, including without limitation, any costs, loss of profits, loss of contracts or business opportunity, loss of data and any other consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, even if Bearded Florista has been advised of the possibility of such damages, arising directly or indirectly out of or in any way connected with your use or inability to access the Bearded Florista website and/or the Bearded Florista Service, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise provided that nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions affects or will affect you or the recipient's statutory rights in relation to the quality, fitness or description of Bearded Florista products supplied.

 

Changes to these terms and conditions may from time to time be made. Bearded Florista reserves the right to supplement and amend the Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility as a customer to review the Terms and Conditions on each occasion you access the Bearded Florista website. Changes will be effective 24 hours after the posting of any such change and all subsequent dealings between you and Bearded Florista shall be on the new terms and conditions.

eGift Card: Not transferrable. No cash offered in return. No change offered. Valid for 12 months from activated date. No refunds for purchasing eGift Cards. 

 

Your purchase will be deemed to have occurred in the UK. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
